This anthology of documents, drawn primarily from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, addresses issues regarding the nature and life of the Church. Included are the place of Scripture as the rule for reformation, the nature of New Testament church government, the importance of church unity, and the need for ongoing reformation. Any concerned for the glory of God in the Church should be familiar with this heritage of biblical teaching.
